Here
is how I placed it in the tank. Not how intended but I see no reason this
would hinder it's use.
The water intake holes are on the
bottom...

the back. By hanging it on the side these parts are as exposed as if it were
hung on the back.
Here
is a view with the bottom removed. The motor is revealed and you can just see
a gree tube that connects to the top air-intact adjustment screw.
This
is the motor pulled out and turned upside down. I didn't get a picture of
inside from the bottom--very hard to get a good shot. By the way, this is
not the green tube from the last picture.
